To do and to see!

The northern coast of Brittany is full of activities for all, whatever their ages and desires! Here are just a few suggestions of our own, do not hesitate to consult the Roscoff Tourist Office website.

If you like water and the sea, our tourist accommodation is ideal:

  • 3 minutes away: St Pol de Léon swimming pool is 3 minutes away;
  • great beaches of North Finistère: in particular the Dossen, in Santec, the Amieds, in Cléder, or Keradennec, in Sibiril. There are two several accessible beaches in Plougoulm: Kerbrat and Guillec, which overlook the mouths of the rivers of the same name, and the beach of Toul An Ouch. Note that it is possible to reach the Dossen beach from Kerbrat beach, either by crossing the arm of the sea by foot (at low tide!) Or via the tide bridge a little further;
  • nautical clubs of Saint-Pol-de-Léon, Santec and Cléder or Roscoff: whether for Stand Up Paddle, sand yachting, kayaking, windsurfing, surfing, dinghy sailing, catamaran sailing, or even ballads in old sailing boats…
  • discover the islands: notably Sieck, nearby, or Callot, both accessible at low tide, or the Isle of Batz, accessible from the port of Moguériec (summer) or Roscoff. It is also possible to visit the magnificent Bay of Morlaix and its islands, as well as the splendid Château du Taureau using dedicated cruises.

If your enjoy hitch-hicking, you’ll enjoy the many possibilities to reach the famous GR 34 hitch hicking track, elected best of all tracks for France in 2018! A real postcard at every turn! Our city of Plougoulm is also working hard to reconstruct the pilgrim walking track from Moguériec to St Jacques de Compostelle. Part of the track is at the end of the garden!

Walking patch on Batz Island.

You are more into nature and gardens? We would suggest you to visit the exoting gardens of Batz Island and Roscoff, with a very rich diversity. You’ll also enjoy visiting the surrouding heritage, and cities like Roscoff or Morlaix. We also recommend a detour to the the circuit of the parish enclosures and the Monts d’Arrée and Huelgoat!

Huelgoat forest: take a deep breath!

Rather cocooning? We also have what you need: the Roscoff thalassotherapy center is nearby! Nothing like it to relax as much as possible and get off on the right foot!

Gourmets, the Haut Léon region is famous for its vegetables (you will see them in the fields around the house), but also of course for seafood! We have kept some good addresses of nearby restaurants!

If you come with your family, there are many activities available in the vicinity such as tree climbing, playgrounds.
